  • Open Space Preservation

  • Community Safety Focused

  • Civic Transparency

Justin Glennon for Township Supervisor

As a proud 36-year resident of Skippack, I am running for Township Supervisor to champion responsible development, environmental stewardship, and support for local businesses. Running on a platform of Community, Sustainable Development, and Public Transparency, I aim to bring fresh perspectives and effective solutions to the township.

  • Community: I’m committed to strengthening bonds within Skippack by promoting inclusive policies that encourage local engagement, incorporation of all ideas, and support for small businesses.
  • Sustainable Development: I believe in developing Skippack in a way that respects the environment, improves infrastructure, and ensures that future generations can enjoy a beautiful, healthy community.
  • Public Transparency: As a firm believer in open government, I promise to provide clear, timely communication with residents, ensuring that everyone has a voice in shaping the future of Skippack.

By balancing resident-focused initiatives with preservation of open space, and by emphasizing transparency in township decision-making, we will enjoy a community where families thrive, businesses flourish, and our treasured hometown continues to shine.

My professional experience in enterprise audio-visual communications serving Fortune 500 companies and working in my family’s construction and real estate development businesses from an early age make me poised to lead our community by making responsible decisions that benefit all citizens. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, playing softball, and music and film recording art. Join me in shaping our future!

Karen Lynch for Township Supervisor

As a 26-year resident of Skippack, I have been honored to serve as a Township Supervisor since January 2024, and I wish to continue the excellent work that has begun during my tenure. The Board of Supervisors is currently focusing on budget issues and transparent communication as we develop a Comprehensive Township Plan for the future based on feedback from Skippack residents. I consider it important to see this project through to completion with a full 6-year term as a Board member. My 34-year career in global business development has provided me with the management skills needed to do this seamlessly and successfully.

For relaxation, I enjoy walking throughout the township and participating in the Skippack Historical Society and Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy.

  • Bringing transparency and open communication to township meetings
  • Ensuring that resident input is front and center as we plan for the future
  • Encouraging conversations about open space and responsible development
  • Engaging with the community at every opportunity

Sara Weiss for Township Auditor

My husband and I have called Skippack home for over 23 years and we plan to make it our forever hometown. We raised our son here as a student in the Perkiomen Valley School District, so I understand the importance of providing the best accounting practices and fiduciary responsibility on behalf of Skippack taxpayers. I graduated from Marywood University with a BS in Accounting and earned an MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. My 27-year career as an accountant for a Fortune 500 company provides me with the skills and knowledge to ensure all publicly filed financial reports comply with state and federal regulations and reflect all tax positions and balances.

In my downtime, I volunteer with Stray Cat Blues and Skippack Park Recreation Committee. I enjoy our township’s parks and trails, especially when hiking, running, and biking with my family.

  • Effective oversight of Skippack Township’s assets and resources
  • Accountability and transparency for Township budgeting and spending
  • Timely review and public communication of the independent auditor’s report

Marian Valevas for Township Tax Collector

After 22 years as a Skippack resident, I have a deep commitment to our community’s well-being. I have an MBA in Marketing from Temple University with extensive experience managing complex priorities. My time at the IRS in domestic and international taxes has given me a full understanding of the importance of integrity, accuracy, clarity, and confidentiality in tax matters. Now retired, I volunteer with VITA, providing free tax assistance to lower-income neighbors; the American Cancer Society, providing cancer patients with rides to treatment; and a local dog rescue, fostering and transporting dogs. For fun, I enjoy exploring Skippack’s trail network with my dog and fosters, as well as competing in the local trivia scene.

  • IRS Expertise: Understanding of complex tax systems, now redirected to local service
  • Community Service: Volunteering with programs that lift others up
  • Fresh Ideas for Better Service: From pop-up office hours to digital receipts, I’ll bring new energy to an old role
